Some days you have to stop and smell the roses. So we did. We found a great ROD campground in Greensboro, GA called The Northshore Resort. It is nestled on a lake next to a train track. They have used that as the theme of the park with rail cars throughout the campgrounds. The cars are used as the registration office, sales office, manager’s offices, country store, plus cabins for rent. The campground is on Lake Oconee with many scenic views. Our site was great as we pulled in next to our personal deck which overlooked the lake. What a great place to stop and take a breath.
